Visions of Sugar Plums...

What is Daphne dreaming about under the Christmas tree? Is it a new chew toy? No. Is it Christmas cookies? No. It is her forever family finding her at last!

Daphne and Rosie,..The Best of Friends

Rosie and Daphne met on Saturday, December 16.
It took no less than two days for them to become the best of friends.
Daphne follows Rosie everywhere and Rosie just eats all of that loving attention right up!
They play together, eat together and sleep together.
Daphne really looks up to Rosie and Rosie loves being the big sister!
Each dog would do fine on their own of course, but if anyone is looking for a pair of best friends, this is it!
But for right now, each of them is dreaming of finding their forever home where they can be loved and cherished in the manner they most certainly deserve.

Nothing Wrong With This Girl!

As you can see from the pictures, she is gorgeous, but is also quite a quick study!
Although I was apprehensive at first about training a deaf puppy, it is really easy--at least with this smarty pants!

She is just four months old but has already learned hand signs for sit, good girl, no, leave it, go potty, kennel, and other signs with help of the Deaf Dog Education Action Fund-- deafdogs.org

She is so attentive and loves to keep learning new signs.
She does bark when she is playing, but never barks at random noises!
She is a dream with my kids and they have a blast playing together.
Despite all of her pointer puppy playfulness, Daphne still loves her cuddle time and will put her face right up to yours and snuggle in for her cuddles.

Meet Miss Daphne

Daphne--was abandoned by her hunting owner at the vet's office when he learned she was deaf. Too bad for him, because Daphne is one of the smartest pups you will ever meet!
